Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
- Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and electrical systems.
- Ensure all repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and environmental regulations in the workshop.
- Continuously update knowledge on new vehicle technologies and repair techniques.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle status, repair recommendations, and estimated costs.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex automotive systems.
- Strong understanding of automotive mechanics, electronics, and vehicle diagnostics.
- Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with diagnostic software and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
