Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency, capacity utilization, and product quality.
- Manage and troubleshoot factory systems, including PLC/SCADA controlled machinery, conveyor systems, filling machines, and packaging equipment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and procedures for all production machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation faults, and execute timely repairs to minimize production disruptions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality Control, Maintenance, R&D) to ensure seamless production operations and product development.
- Train and mentor junior technical staff on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) standards and regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports on production performance, downtime analysis, and maintenance activities.
- Participate in the commissioning of new equipment and upgrades to existing factory infrastructure.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems (PLCs, SCADA, HMIs).
- Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of production machinery.
- Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across teams.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Understanding of safety protocols and quality management systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure production setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Mechatronics).
- Certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Prior experience in the FMCG or beverage manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of SAP PM or similar ERP systems for maintenance and production planning.
- Familiarity with robotic systems or advanced automation technologies.
