Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming deliveries efficiently and accurately, checking against delivery notes.
- Organise and store stock in the stockroom and designated areas, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO) and accessibility.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using company systems, performing regular stock counts and investigating discrepancies.
- Prepare and move stock from the backroom to the sales floor, ensuring shelves are replenished and displays are neat.
- Assist with merchandising and promotional setups, ensuring products are correctly priced and displayed.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, particularly in manual handling and equipment operation.
- Support the wider store team with various operational tasks as required, contributing to overall store efficiency.
- Identify and report damaged or expired products, processing returns or disposals according to company policy.
- Keep the stockroom and delivery areas clean, tidy, and organised at all times.
