Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service, greeting customers warmly and assisting them with product location, choices, and general inquiries.
- Operate the till system efficiently and accurately, processing sales, handling cash and card payments, and issuing receipts.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, tidy, and products are correctly priced and merchandised according to company standards.
- Assist with incoming deliveries, safely unloading and storing stock in designated areas.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness and hygiene, including tidying aisles, cleaning spills, and ensuring clear pathways.
- Support the management team in opening and closing procedures of the store.
- Actively promote store special offers, loyalty programs, and new products to customers.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate when necessary to the duty manager.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store targets and create a positive team atmosphere.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
