Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload and process incoming stock deliveries, adhering to all safety protocols and company standards.
- Accurately sort, store, and organise products in designated areas within the warehouse, stockroom, and sales floor.
- Replenish shelves and display units on the sales floor, ensuring products are correctly priced, dated, and presented.
- Assist in preparing and packing online grocery orders for next-day delivery, maintaining accuracy, quality, and freshness standards.
- Operate manual handling equipment such as pallet trucks and cages safely and effectively, after appropriate training.
- Conduct regular stock checks, report any discrepancies, damages, or missing goods promptly.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment across all areas, including stockrooms, aisles, and delivery bays.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations, particularly during night operations.
- Work collaboratively with the night team to achieve daily operational targets and maintain overall store efficiency.
- Provide support to other departments as required, contributing to overall store success and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, stretching, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling and organising stock.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive teamwork.
