Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive HR Officer (Oficial de RH) to join our vibrant Human Resources team in Maputo. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer management, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Facilitate comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring they are well-integrated into the company culture and their respective teams.
- Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring strict compliance with Mozambican labor laws and internal company guidelines.
- Support performance management cycles, including goal setting, reviews, and employee development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Handle employee relations, addressing queries, providing guidance, and resolving workplace issues with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Prepare various HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and strategic HR planning.
- Coordinate and support training and development activities, identifying needs and liaising with trainers.
- Assist in the management of employee benefits programs and payroll-related HR tasks.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in an HR generalist or HR Officer role.
- Strong knowledge of Mozambican labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication (Portuguese and English, written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and integrity.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification or professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SHRM).
- Experience within the telecommunications industry or a similar fast-paced corporate environment.
- Fluency in an additional local Mozambican language.
- Proven experience with HR analytics and reporting tools.
