Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Handle a variety of items, including furniture, boxes, and delicate goods, using appropriate lifting and handling techniques.
- Help with the careful packing and unpacking of customer belongings, ensuring their protection during transit and storage.
- Navigate routes with drivers, assisting with directions and finding delivery/collection points.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and best practices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and supervisors.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required, including sorting and moving items.
- Be a proactive and reliable team member, supporting colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
