Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize physical and electronic legal case files, ensuring all documents are current, accurate, and easily retrievable.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for external law firms, courts, and regulatory bodies regarding document exchange and procedural inquiries.
  • Prepare, review for completeness, and ensure timely submission of court filings, affidavits, petitions, and other legal documents.
  • Maintain an up-to-date legal registry, including tracking court dates, deadlines, and the status of ongoing litigation.
  • Process and distribute incoming legal correspondence, summons, subpoenas, and court orders to relevant legal counsel and departments.
  • Assist legal counsel in drafting routine legal documents, correspondence, and reports as required.
  • Conduct basic legal research to support case preparation and compliance activities.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all internal policies, legal procedures, and data confidentiality protocols.
  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and arrange travel for legal team members as needed.
  • Support the overall administrative functions of the Legal Department.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Court Clerk, Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar role in a legal or corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of court procedures, legal terminology, and document management systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive legal information.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.

Preferred Qualifications
