Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make informed recommendations when appropriate.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, courteously, and with attention to presentation.
- Clear and reset tables promptly and discreetly to prepare for new guests.
- Assist servers and bartenders as needed to ensure a seamless and efficient service flow.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces.
- Restock cutlery, napkins, condiments, and other dining essentials regularly.
- Help with opening and closing procedures, which includes setting up and breaking down the dining room.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve minor issues independently, escalating to management when necessary to ensure satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
