Key Responsibilities
- Assist the procurement team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry and document management.
- Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and invoicing queries.
- Maintain and update supplier information in the procurement system.
- Support in the preparation of procurement reports and analyses.
- Participate in supplier onboarding processes and due diligence checks.
- Help to ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs.
- Assist with inventory management and tracking of goods and services.
- Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvement within the procurement function.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Portuguese (Assistente de Compras).
