Job Description

Rawbank S.A. is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Credit Analyst with a specialization in Risk Evaluation to join our dynamic team in Boma, Kongo-Central Province. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis of credit applications, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow projections for corporate and individual clients.
  • Assess credit risk by analyzing financial statements, market conditions, industry trends, and client repayment capabilities.
  • Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations to support lending decisions, outlining identified risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor existing loan portfolios for adherence to credit terms, identify early warning signs of default, and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Ensure all credit activities and recommendations comply with internal credit policies, banking regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with relationship managers and sales teams to understand client needs and structure appropriate credit solutions.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to project credit outcomes and analyze various risk scenarios.
  • Participate in the review and update of credit policies and procedures to enhance risk management frameworks.
  • Present findings and recommendations to credit committees and senior management effectively.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in credit analysis and risk evaluation, preferably within the banking sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial ratios.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
  • Solid knowledge of credit products, lending processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are highly desirable.
  • Fluency in French and Lingala is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with core banking systems and credit risk management software.
  • Familiarity with the economic and business landscape of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
