As a Construction Site Helper, you will be an integral part of our project teams, supporting various construction activities and ensuring the smooth operation of our sites. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with various tasks on the construction site.
- Perform general labor duties, including site preparation and cleanup, debris removal, and material handling.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to safety protocols.
- Support the setup and dismantling of temporary structures, scaffolding, and work areas.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and site managers to complete tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive and productive work atmosphere.
- Monitor inventory of tools and materials, reporting any shortages or damage.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials (up to 50 lbs), bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and willingness to learn more.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States or eligible for employment sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a construction, manufacturing, or manual labor role.
- Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
