Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of loan applicants, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow projections.
  • Assess credit risk by analyzing industry trends, market conditions, and macroeconomic factors.
  • Prepare detailed credit appraisal reports and proposals for presentation to the Credit Committee.
  • Monitor existing credit portfolios to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and lending guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure appropriate credit facilities that meet client needs while managing bank risk.
  • Engage in periodic client visits and due diligence activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial products, credit regulations, and economic developments.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Credit Analyst or similar role in a financial institution.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial ratios.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
