Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Beautician to join our esteemed Spa & Wellness Centre at Novotel Port Harcourt. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who excels in providing a wide range of beauty treatments, possesses excellent client communication skills, and is dedicated to promoting a sense of relaxation and rejuvenation. As a Beautician, you will be instrumental in enhancing our guests’ overall wellness journey, delivering personalized services that reflect the high standards of Novotel. You will be responsible for consulting with clients, assessing their needs, and recommending appropriate treatments, ensuring each guest leaves feeling refreshed and radiant. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of beauty treatments including facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, make-up application, and massages (if qualified).
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their needs, preferences, and any contraindications.
- Recommend and upsell appropriate beauty products and services tailored to individual client requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic treatment area in strict accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and relaxing experience for all guests.
- Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, techniques, and product knowledge through continuous training and research.
- Assist with inventory management of beauty products and supplies.
- Collaborate with the spa team to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback professionally and courteously.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Beautician or Esthetician.
- Proficiency in various beauty treatments (facials, waxing, nail care, make-up).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of skin care, cosmetics, and beauty products.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional client service orientation.
- Meticulous attention to detail and hygiene.

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in Cosmetology, Esthetics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
