Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently stack and unstack products from pallets, ensuring stability and proper product placement.
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks (training provided) to move pallets to designated storage areas or sales floor.
- Verify incoming product quantities against delivery manifests to ensure accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse and receiving areas, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required, contributing to accurate stock management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned to support overall store operations and customer service.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing product placement and counts.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions diligently and work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and inventory verification.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a physical labour role, retail stock, or general warehouse work is an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in a retail or warehouse setting.
