Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in resident apartments, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, changing linens, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, dining rooms, activity rooms, and public restrooms.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to designated disposal areas.
- Replenish supplies in resident units and common areas (e.g., soap, toilet paper).
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and infection control policies and procedures.
- Report any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or unusual observations to the supervisor promptly.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and supplies according to safety guidelines.
- Interact respectfully and professionally with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or preparing rooms for new residents.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or environmental services, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
