This role involves handling the sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding of guest laundry and hotel linens. Key Responsibilities
- Sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding guest laundry and hotel linens
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of laundry equipment and work areas
- Handling special requests from guests promptly and efficiently
- Ensuring all laundry is processed according to hotel standards
- Adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations
- Assisting with other laundry-related tasks as assigned
- Maintaining inventory of laundry supplies
Required Skills
- Ability to operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment
- Experience in ironing and folding techniques
- Knowledge of laundry detergents and other cleaning agents
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a laundry attendant in a hotel or similar setting
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using industrial laundry equipment
- Knowledge of different fabric types and appropriate care instructions
- Proficiency in using basic cleaning chemicals
