Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our dedicated team at our Falmouth office. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, proofread, and file various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence.
- Manage and organize physical and electronic client files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility.
- Conduct legal research using online databases and other resources, summarizing findings for attorneys.
- Schedule appointments, court dates, meetings, and manage attorney calendars effectively.
- Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel, handling inquiries and relaying information.
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, manage office supplies, and maintain office equipment.
- Perform general administrative duties as required to support the legal team and firm operations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
