Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly creative Marketing Executive to join Arnold Clark’s vibrant marketing team, with a dedicated focus on brand promotion initiatives. Based at our Kinning Park office in Glasgow, this role is critical in enhancing our brand presence, increasing brand awareness, and strengthening our market position across a diverse range of channels. You will be instrumental in developing, executing, and monitoring comprehensive brand promotion strategies, working closely with various departments – including sales, digital marketing, and PR – to ensure consistent brand messaging and seamless alignment with our overarching business objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative brand promotion campaigns across both digital and traditional media channels.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (sales, digital marketing, PR) to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaign delivery.
  • Manage and optimise our social media presence, overseeing content creation, scheduling, and engagement strategies for effective brand building.
  • Monitor market trends, analyse competitor activities, and gather customer feedback to proactively identify new brand promotion opportunities.
  • Organise and coordinate brand-building events, sponsorships, and strategic partnerships that align with brand values.
  • Analyse campaign performance, prepare comprehensive reports, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of brand guidelines, ensuring strict adherence across all marketing materials and communications.
  • Support the creation of compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, website content, advertisements, and promotional videos.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors as required for specific brand initiatives, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Actively contribute to the overall marketing strategy planning process, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a marketing role, specifically with a focus on brand promotion, brand management, or integrated marketing communications.
  • Strong understanding of core marketing principles, brand strategy, and consumer behaviour.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and compelling storytelling.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management tools, content management systems, web analytics).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a closely related field.
