Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, design, and develop new fashion collections (bespoke and ready-to-wear).
- Conduct thorough trend research and analysis to inform design decisions.
- Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards to communicate design concepts.
- Develop accurate patterns, construct prototypes, and oversee sample creation.
- Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and embellishments for each collection.
- Actively participate in the garment construction process, including cutting and advanced sewing.
- Conduct fittings with clients and models, making necessary adjustments and alterations.
- Collaborate closely with tailors, pattern makers, and production teams to ensure design integrity and quality.
- Maintain strict quality control standards throughout the design and production process.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
- Present design concepts and finished garments to management and clients.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Fashion Designer with a strong and diverse portfolio.
- Expertise in pattern making, draping, cutting, and advanced sewing techniques.
- Proficiency in fashion design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW).
- In-depth knowledge of textiles, fabric properties, and garment construction methods.
- Strong understanding of current fashion trends, color theory, and design principles.
