Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive garden maintenance, including pruning, weeding, mulching, fertilizing, and pest control.
- Manage irrigation systems, ensuring optimal watering for all plant species and areas.
- Plant, cultivate, and care for a wide variety of trees, shrubs, flowers, and ground cover.
- Mow, edge, and maintain lawns to a pristine condition, including aeration and overseeding as needed.
- Monitor plant health, diagnose issues (pests, diseases, nutritional deficiencies), and implement appropriate organic or conventional treatments.
- Execute seasonal planting schedules and contribute to garden design enhancements and improvements.
- Operate and maintain garden machinery and tools safely and efficiently, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of all garden areas, pathways, and outdoor structures.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with the property owner or estate manager regarding garden progress, needs, and upcoming projects.
- Adhere to sustainable gardening practices, promoting soil health, water conservation, and local biodiversity.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise (minimum 2 years) in horticulture and landscape maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of plant identification, pest management, and disease control.
- Proficiency in operating various gardening tools and machinery (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws).
