Silver Lake Pool & Inn is seeking dedicated Hotel Cleaners to join our esteemed housekeeping team in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, and replenishing amenities, adhering strictly to high hotel standards and brand guidelines.
- Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and elevators, ensuring they are immaculate, presentable, and welcoming at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items in rooms or public areas promptly and accurately to supervisors using established communication channels.
- Manage and organize linen closets, cleaning supplies, and equipment, ensuring everything is adequately stocked, properly maintained, and stored safely.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries in a polite, efficient, and professional manner, escalating complex issues to appropriate management when necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with other housekeeping staff, front desk, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to Lost and Found procedures, ensuring all found items are documented and secured according to company policy.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with guests and colleagues, embodying the hotel's commitment to exceptional hospitality.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, push, and pull as required for routine cleaning tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning, particularly within a hotel, resort, or other hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and sanitation protocols.
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Tagalog) is a plus, enhancing our ability to serve a diverse clientele.
- A proactive attitude, a willingness to learn new procedures, and adaptability to changing priorities.
