Key Responsibilities
- Assist delivery drivers with loading and unloading merchandise from delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Verify product counts and ensure accuracy of deliveries against invoices or manifests.
- Navigate routes efficiently with drivers, using maps or GPS, to ensure timely deliveries.
- Safely deliver goods to customer homes or businesses, often involving carrying heavy packages.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.
- Report any delivery issues, damaged goods, or vehicle maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and food handling regulations.
- Assist with warehouse tasks, inventory organization, and general store duties when not on delivery routes.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of navigation and route planning.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in delivery, warehousing, or a physically demanding role.
- Familiarity with the Koreatown and greater Los Angeles area.
