As an Oando Graduate Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive 18-24 month rotational program, gaining hands-on experience across various critical functions within our diverse operations, including but not limited to Upstream (Exploration & Production), Midstream (Gas & Power), Downstream (Marketing & Distribution), and Corporate Services (Finance, HR, IT, Legal). Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in structured training modules and workshops designed to enhance industry knowledge and soft skills.
- Contribute to real-time projects and initiatives across various departments, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.
- Rotate through different business units to gain a holistic understanding of Oando’s operations and the energy value chain.
- Support senior team members in daily tasks, research, and analysis to meet departmental objectives.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Adhere strictly to Oando’s health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Engage actively in mentorship sessions and seek feedback for continuous personal and professional development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree (minimum 2:1) in Engineering, Sciences, Social Sciences, or Business-related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
