As a Caregiver in our residential facility, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and happiness of our residents. Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care, including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and other activities of daily living.
- Safely and accurately administer medication in accordance with prescribed guidelines and company policy.
- Assist residents with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements and preferences are met.
- Engage residents in meaningful social, recreational, and therapeutic activities.
- Maintain detailed and accurate care records, documenting observations, care provided, and any changes in residents' condition.
- Foster a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, their families, and other members of the care team.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies, following established protocols.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and company procedures.
- Promote residents' independence, choice, and dignity at all times.
Required Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- High level of empathy, compassion, and patience.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic IT literacy for record-keeping and administrative tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
- SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Previous experience working in a residential care setting.
- Knowledge and experience of supporting individuals with dementia, physical disabilities, or other complex needs.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Basic food hygiene certificate.
