Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscaping duties including mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, and planting trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Operate and maintain a variety of groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Manage and troubleshoot irrigation systems, ensuring proper watering schedules and system functionality.
- Clean and maintain pathways, public areas, and facilities, including litter removal and waste disposal.
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on park amenities, benches, fences, and playground equipment.
- Monitor park conditions, identify potential hazards, and report needs for extensive repairs or pest control.
- Prepare athletic fields for various sports and events, including lining and general upkeep.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations in the performance of duties.
- Assist with seasonal decorations and special event setups as required.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field (minimum 1 year).
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, and irrigation systems.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment and hand tools.
