Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming store environment.
  • Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences for mobile phones, laptops, and accessories.
  • Demonstrate product features and benefits, effectively communicating value propositions to potential buyers.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products, promotions, and services offered by SLOT Systems.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and provide after-sales support with a high level of professionalism.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves, monitoring product displays, and ensuring store tidiness.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance sales skills and product expertise.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and security protocols at all times.

Required Skills

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within a retail or consumer electronics environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive selling abilities.
  • Customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to work effectively in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OND/HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Specific experience selling mobile phones, laptops, or similar electronic gadgets.
  • Familiarity with the Shasha, Alimosho local market and customer base.
  • Ability to speak multiple local languages is a plus.
