Job Description

Courts Jamaica, a proud member of the Unicomer Group, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Retail Manager to oversee our store operations in the Bethel Town, Savanna-la-Mar region. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing retail team to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.
- Oversee all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain operational standards.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop effective sales strategies.
- Manage store budgets, control operational costs, and maximize profitability.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered, resolving customer complaints promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate ongoing training for store associates.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and safety.
- Collaborate with regional management and other departments to align store activities with overall company objectives.
- Prepare and present regular reports on store performance, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in retail management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a large-format store or electronics/appliance sector.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities with a track record of developing staff.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in retail management software, POS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales, manage P&L, and achieve ambitious targets.
- Sound understanding of inventory control, visual merchandising principles, and loss prevention strategies.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Customer-focused mindset with an unwavering commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
