Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize guest rooms and public areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing surfaces.
  • Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities according to hotel standards.
  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them promptly to the appropriate department.
  • Organize and stock housekeeping carts with supplies, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Handle guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
  • Maintain cleanliness of corridors, lobbies, and other common areas.
  • Work collaboratively with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Comply with all hotel and brand standards regarding room setup and presentation.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, push, and pull up to 25 pounds regularly.

  • Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or commercial setting.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment.
