Job Description
Are you an exceptionally skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician with an unwavering passion for ensuring operational excellence within a vibrant, fast-paced manufacturing environment? Bralima is actively seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician specializing in Plant Repair to join our esteemed technical team at our state-of-the-art facility in Kinshasa. In this vital role, you will be primarily responsible for the proactive, predictive, and reactive maintenance of our sophisticated brewing and bottling equipment, which includes fillers, labelers, pasteurizers, and complex conveying systems. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on all plant machinery and equipment (e.g., fillers, labelers, pasteurizers, conveyors, pumps, motors).
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems and perform necessary repairs quickly and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment malfunctions and identify root causes to prevent recurrence.
- Execute corrective maintenance activities, including component replacement, calibration, and adjustment.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.
- Collaborate with production operators and engineers to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance practices and equipment uptime.
- Perform general welding, fabrication, and machining tasks as required for repairs.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, motor controls, and PLC basics.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (schematics, blueprints, manuals).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
