Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and reputation for Western University of Health Sciences.
- Create, curate, and manage compelling visual and written content across all major social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).
- Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and conversations relevant to higher education and health sciences, identifying opportunities for proactive engagement.
- Engage with our online community, respond to comments and messages, and foster a positive and interactive environment.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, generate regular reports, and use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal departments (admissions, alumni relations, academic programs, research) to develop integrated campaigns and content that support their objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies, recommending new approaches to continuously improve our digital presence.
- Ensure all social media content adheres to brand guidelines, university policies, and accessibility standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in social media management, brand promotion, or digital marketing.
- Demonstrable experience leading and delivering successful social media campaigns from concept to execution.
- Proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok) and their respective analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of social media advertising principles and best practices.
