Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently load, unload, sort, and accurately move products and materials by hand or with appropriate material handling equipment as required.
  • Precisely scan and track totes and inventory items using handheld devices or our advanced warehouse management systems.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests, purchase orders, or other relevant documentation.
  • Systematically organize and stack totes in designated storage areas, ensuring proper storage methods, accessibility, and optimal space utilization.
  • Proactively maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized work environment by consistently clearing aisles, removing debris, and adhering to 5S principles.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Perform thorough quality checks on materials for any damages, discrepancies, or missing items and report any issues promptly to supervisors.
  • Collaborate effectively and communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless and efficient warehouse operations.
  • Assist with periodic inventory counts, cycle counts, and other general warehouse tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills

  • Ability to consistently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly throughout a full shift.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurately reading labels, instructions, and performing basic counts.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling all materials and data entry.
  • Proven reliability and punctuality are absolutely essential for this role.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as an integral part of a larger team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with colleagues.
  • Unwavering commitment to workplace safety and consistently following established procedures and guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or similar physically demanding role.
  • Prior experience with handheld scanning devices or modern warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Familiarity with various types of material handling equipment, such as manual pallet jacks or dollies.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, if business needs require.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
