Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for resolving customer complaints and complex service issues, ensuring complete satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and recommend appropriate U-Haul products or services to enhance their moving experience.
  • Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve issues that require specialized attention.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of U-Haul's products, services, and policies to provide expert guidance.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment, sharing best practices and supporting colleagues as needed.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or customer relations role.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and empathetic tone.
  • Proven ability to de-escalate difficult situations and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers and experience using CRM software and other communication tools.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home workspace.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the moving, storage, logistics, or transportation industry.
  • Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
