Job Description

Monoprice is seeking a meticulous and results-driven Remote E-commerce Specialist, with a primary focus on Product Listing, to join our dynamic and expanding team. This pivotal role is central to our online presence and sales strategy, ensuring that Monoprice’s extensive catalog of consumer electronics, cables, components, and accessories is presented optimally across all our e-commerce platforms. As an expert in product data management, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of product listings, from initial creation and upload to continuous optimization and performance analysis. This includes crafting compelling and SEO-rich product titles, descriptions, and bullet points that resonate with our target audience and drive organic visibility. You will meticulously manage product attributes, specifications, and variations, ensuring absolute accuracy and consistency across all channels. A critical part of your role will involve coordinating with our content creation team to ensure high-quality images, videos, and other multimedia assets are correctly associated with products and optimized for web performance. You will also be responsible for regular auditing of existing listings to identify areas for improvement, correct discrepancies, and ensure compliance with brand guidelines and e-commerce best practices. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of current SEO trends in e-commerce, and proficiency with Product Information Management (PIM) systems and various e-commerce platforms. You will work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong collaboration with marketing, sales, merchandising, and supply chain teams to align product presentation with overall business objectives. Key Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and optimize product listings across all Monoprice e-commerce platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Develop SEO-friendly product titles, descriptions, and bullet points to maximize search engine visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Maintain product data integrity, including attributes, specifications, variations, pricing, and inventory levels within PIM and e-commerce systems.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure high-quality product imagery, videos, and other digital assets are correctly uploaded and associated with listings.
  • Conduct regular audits of existing product listings to identify and correct discrepancies, improve content quality, and ensure compliance with e-commerce best practices.
  • Monitor competitor listings and industry trends to identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation in product presentation.
  • Analyze product listing performance, making data-driven recommendations for optimization to improve conversion rates and customer experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, merchandising, and supply chain teams to ensure product information aligns with launch schedules and promotional activities.
  • Stay updated on e-commerce platform changes, SEO algorithms, and new tools relevant to product listing management.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce product listing or merchandising.
  • Proficiency with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, etc.).
  • Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices for product content.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills, with an ability to create compelling product descriptions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote work environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
