Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Hotel Cleaner to join our housekeeping team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all areas are spotless and meet the high standards expected by our guests. Onsite accommodation is provided as a part of this role. This is a full-time position requiring a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays. You will be working as part of a team but will also need to be able to work independently and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and bathrooms according to established procedures.
- Replenishing amenities in guest rooms, such as toiletries and towels.
- Cleaning and maintaining public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and elevators.
- Vacuuming and mopping floors.
- Dusting furniture and fixtures.
- Emptying trash cans and recycling bins.
- Reporting any maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
- Adhering to hotel safety and security policies.
- Working effectively as part of a team to ensure efficient service.
Required Skills
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar cleaning role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a high-end hotel
