Key Responsibilities

  • Scout and research emerging local musical talent, including artists, bands, and spoken-word performers, for potential features on iHeartMedia platforms.
  • Assist the programming team with music submissions review, demo listening, and providing informed feedback.
  • Support the planning and execution of local promotional events, artist showcases, and community engagement activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify music trends, listener preferences, and competitive landscapes within the Riverside/Inland Empire region.
  • Contribute to the creation of digital content, including artist bios, social media posts, and multimedia assets to promote local talent.
  • Maintain and update a database of local artists, contacts, and performance opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., programming, marketing, sales) to align talent development efforts with broader company objectives.
  • Provide administrative support to the A&R and programming departments as needed.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated passion for music and entertainment across various genres.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
