You will operate commercial laundry equipment, manage inventory, and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and resident confidentiality. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain commercial washing, drying, and folding equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident personal clothing and facility linens according to established procedures.
  • Ensure all laundry items are handled with care, paying attention to specific washing instructions and resident preferences.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the laundry room area.
  • Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
  • Manage laundry supplies, including detergents and other cleaning agents, and report low stock.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and infection control policies.
  • Respect resident privacy and confidentiality regarding personal belongings.
  • Assist with other general duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the facility's operations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of laundry equipment operation or willingness to learn.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull laundry carts and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
