Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to program managers and team members, ensuring smooth operation of projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of program documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain program data, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Support the coordination of meetings, workshops, and field activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of program activities, gathering feedback and assisting with basic data analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with beneficiaries, partners, and stakeholders under supervision.
  • Undertake field visits as required to support program implementation and gather on-the-ground insights.
  • Adhere to KRCS policies, procedures, and the fundamental principles of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.

Required Skills

  • Strong desire to learn and contribute to humanitarian efforts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field (recently graduated candidates are encouraged).
  • Volunteer experience with a non-profit organization or community group.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (verbal and written) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with the socio-cultural context of Kuwait.
