As our Music Supervisor, you will be the creative and logistical force behind integrating music into our various video and multimedia projects. Your expertise will be crucial in curating, licensing, and managing all musical elements, ensuring they perfectly align with the creative vision and emotional tone of each production. You will be responsible for everything from initial music searches and artist outreach to complex licensing negotiations and budget management. This role demands a keen ear for diverse genres, an up-to-date knowledge of current music trends, and a thorough understanding of music rights and clearance procedures. You will work closely with our directors, producers, editors, and clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all music-related needs. Your ability to source both well-known tracks and discover emerging talent will be invaluable. We’re looking for someone who can not only navigate the intricacies of copyright and synchronization licenses but also bring innovative musical ideas that elevate our storytelling. If you thrive in a fast-paced creative environment, possess excellent negotiation skills, and have a proven track record in music supervision, we encourage you to apply. This role offers the chance to make a significant creative impact on a wide array of projects, from commercial spots to short-form documentaries and branded content.

- Negotiate license fees, terms, and conditions with rights holders, ensuring compliance with budget constraints and legal requirements.
- Oversee the music budget for each project, tracking expenses and providing regular updates.
- Maintain an organized database of music contacts, licenses, and cues.
- Provide creative input and guidance on musical direction, genre selection, and sonic identity.
- Stay abreast of current music trends, emerging artists, and industry best practices.
- Ensure all music-related deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Handle all necessary paperwork and contracts related to music usage.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in music supervision, music licensing, or a related field within film, TV, advertising, or media production.

- Exceptional music curation skills with a broad knowledge of genres, artists, and music history.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with creative teams and clients.
- Proficiency with music search platforms and databases (e.g., Extreme Music, APM, Epidemic Sound, etc.).
- Ability to understand and interpret creative briefs and translate them into musical selections.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Film Production, Communications, or a related field.
