Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated HR Manager (Gestor de RH) to join our esteemed team in Maputo. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full cycle of recruitment and selection processes, from job description to onboarding, ensuring the attraction of top talent.
- Oversee and enhance employee performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and professional development plans.
- Provide guidance and support to management on employee relations, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with Mozambican labor laws and internal company policies.
- Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and legal requirements.
- Manage and administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
- Identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of comprehensive development programs for employees, leveraging the provided internal training resources.
- Maintain accurate HR records and utilize HRIS for data analysis and reporting to inform strategic decision-making.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement and retention.
- Act as a strategic partner to departmental leaders, advising on HR best practices and people management strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in Human Resources roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both Portuguese and English.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex employee relations issues.
- Solid understanding of Mozambican labor laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Prior experience within the banking or financial services industry.
- Experience with strategic HR planning and talent development initiatives.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of change management principles and their application in HR contexts.
