Job Description
We are seeking a highly vigilant, disciplined, and proactive Security Officer to join our dedicated Estate Team, responsible for maintaining the safety and security of a high-profile residential estate managed by Broll Property Group. This is a critical full-time, live-in position, offering a unique opportunity to become an integral part of a protective services team, ensuring peace of mind for residents and safeguarding valuable assets. As a live-in Security Officer, you will be expected to embed yourself within the estate’s operational framework, providing continuous surveillance and immediate response capabilities. Your presence will be a deterrent to unauthorized access and criminal activities, while also ensuring strict adherence to estate rules and regulations. This role goes beyond basic patrolling; it requires a keen understanding of security protocols, emergency procedures, and a commitment to fostering a safe and respectful environment for all residents and staff. You will work collaboratively with other security personnel and estate management to implement and maintain robust security measures, conduct regular patrols, monitor CCTV systems, and manage access control points. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the estate perimeter, common areas, and designated zones to identify and report any security breaches or suspicious activities.
- Monitor and operate CCTV surveillance systems, alarms, and other security equipment effectively.
- Manage access control points, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors gain entry to the estate.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to all security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, escalating as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and visitor logs.
- Enforce estate rules and regulations firmly yet respectfully.
- Assist residents and visitors with security-related inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with other security personnel and estate management to enhance security protocols.
- Conduct routine checks on fire safety equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Provide first-line response during medical emergencies or other crises until professional help arrives.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar protective services role.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
