As our Event Coordinator, you will be the heart and soul behind every ‘I do’ and every festive cheer, meticulously planning and executing a diverse portfolio of social events. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients planning weddings, parties, and other social events.
  • Conduct initial consultations, present event packages, and assist clients in customizing their event details, themes, and layouts.
  • Develop and manage detailed event timelines, budgets, and checklists to ensure all deadlines and financial parameters are met.
  • Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue setup, décor, catering, entertainment, audiovisual equipment, and transportation.
  • Liaise effectively with internal departments (Kitchen, Banqueting, Front Office, Housekeeping) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage external vendors (florists, photographers, musicians, rental companies) to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Oversee event execution on the day, addressing any issues promptly and professionally to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in event planning.
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals, contracts, and invoices for clients.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in event planning, with a strong focus on weddings and social parties.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as dictated by event schedules.
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Creative flair with a practical approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
