Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and passionate Music Data Analyst with a focus on Streaming Insights to join our dynamic team at Oaklawn Racing Casino Resort. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to music consumption, streaming patterns, and guest entertainment preferences.
- Identify key trends, opportunities, and challenges within the music and streaming landscape relevant to Oaklawn's guest demographics and entertainment offerings.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using BI tools to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support specific business questions from the entertainment, marketing, and operations departments.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize promotional campaigns for music events and content based on data-driven insights.
- Provide recommendations for live music programming, in-venue music selection, and personalized content strategies to enhance guest engagement and satisfaction.
- Utilize statistical modeling and predictive analytics to forecast music trends and their potential impact on guest behavior.
- Stay current with industry trends in music technology, streaming platforms, and data analytics methodologies.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on music, media, or entertainment data.
