Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival, escort them to tables, and present menus with a professional and friendly attitude.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, daily specials, and beverage options, making informed recommendations when appropriate.
- Accurately take food and drink orders, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, observing proper service etiquette and handling procedures.
- Monitor table activity to anticipate guests' needs, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and addressing any concerns proactively.
- Process guest payments accurately, operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, and handle cash and card transactions efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, ensuring tables are reset quickly and properly for new guests.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas.
