Job Description
Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for engaging audiences through diverse digital mediums? Visit Hot Springs is seeking a talented and self-motivated Remote Content Creator to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in crafting captivating content that brings the unique allure of Hot Springs, Arkansas, to life for potential visitors across the globe. As a Remote Content Creator, you will develop, produce, and optimize high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content for various digital platforms, including our website, social media channels, email newsletters, and promotional campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your creativity to highlight everything from the historic Bathhouse Row and pristine natural parks to vibrant events, local cuisine, and unique experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing team to brainstorm ideas, ensure brand consistency, and execute content strategies that resonate with diverse target audiences. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, edit, and proofread engaging copy for website articles, blog posts, social media captions, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.
- Conceptualize and produce visually appealing content, including but not limited to, graphics, short videos, and photos (either by creating directly or directing/editing existing assets).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new content ideas, campaigns, and strategies aligned with brand guidelines and promotional goals.
- Conduct research on Hot Springs attractions, events, and unique selling points to ensure accuracy and relevance in all content.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) and social media platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
- Monitor content performance using analytics tools and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and style across all communication channels.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, content best practices, and digital marketing innovations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of English grammar and style.
- Proficiency in creating engaging content for various digital platforms (websites, social media, email).
- Familiarity with SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
- Basic understanding of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) or willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant content creation work (writing samples, visual content).
