Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced, reliable, and discreet Private Household Driver to provide dedicated transportation services for a prominent family residing in the prestigious Ikeja GRA area. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport family members to various destinations across Lagos and occasionally out of state.
- Maintain the cleanliness and pristine condition of all assigned vehicles, both interior and exterior.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
- Plan and execute optimal routes, considering traffic patterns and potential delays to ensure timely arrivals.
- Manage vehicle fueling, servicing, and routine maintenance schedules, ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy.
- Assist family members with loading and unloading luggage, groceries, and other items as required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding family matters, schedules, and personal information.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, promoting safe driving practices at all times.
- Be available for flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional public holidays, as per family requirements.
- Perform various errands and duties as assigned by the principal, demonstrating proactivity and helpfulness.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable professional driving experience, preferably within a private household or executive setting.
- Valid Nigerian Class E or higher driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Extensive knowledge of Lagos road networks, including alternative routes and traffic hotspots.
- Proficiency in defensive driving techniques and adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polite and respectful demeanor.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness.
