Job Description
Zenith Bank is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Compliance Analyst to join our esteemed Compliance team in Jabi, Abuja. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily monitoring of transactions and customer accounts to identify potential suspicious activities or non-compliance with regulatory guidelines (e.g., AML, KYC).
- Conduct preliminary research on new and existing regulations, reporting findings to senior compliance officers.
- Support the preparation of internal and external compliance reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to regulatory bodies.
- Help maintain and update compliance records, policies, and procedures documentation.
- Participate in compliance training sessions and workshops to enhance understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Assist in responding to audit requests and regulatory inquiries by gathering necessary data and documentation.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure bank-wide adherence to compliance standards.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated integrity and a strong ethical mindset.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of the financial services industry and its regulatory environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship experience in a financial institution, legal firm, or regulatory body.
