Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment with precision.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers, answering questions, and resolving inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring a pleasant shopping environment.
- Assist with bagging groceries and loading carts as needed.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including those related to loss prevention and food safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling.
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
