You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from sanitizing bathrooms and making beds to replenishing amenities and ensuring all fixtures sparkle. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, suites, and common areas (lobbies, hallways, restrooms, etc.) to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest room amenities.
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures.
- Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the supervisor.
- Maintain a well-stocked and organized housekeeping cart with all necessary supplies.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and resort policies.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting linens.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting (minimum 6 months).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift, bend, push, and pull frequently.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a customer-focused approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in hospitality or housekeeping management.
- Familiarity with various cleaning techniques for different surfaces.
