Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for money and favorable conditions.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Monitor market trends, supply chain dynamics, and new technologies to identify potential cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with service level agreements and quality standards.
  • Manage inventory levels and stock control to minimize waste and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement activities, spend analysis, and savings achieved.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
