Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to payment, for goods and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve the best value for money and favorable conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Monitor market trends, supply chain dynamics, and new technologies to identify potential cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and audits to ensure compliance with service level agreements and quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels and stock control to minimize waste and optimize operational efficiency.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement activities, spend analysis, and savings achieved.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Operations, Finance, IT) to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role within a fast-paced environment.
